He brings along a 50-year industry career, having operated Maintenance Plus in Oklahoma.
In 1987, he relocated to St. Louis, where he held senior consulting roles at O.K. Vacuum & Janitor Supply and New System until 2016.
Currently, David serves as Director of the Academy of Cleaning Excellence in Orlando, FL, a global resource dedicated to professional development for frontline cleaning staff.
He hosts the podcast "Beyond Clean with ACE," now in its ninth season, which fosters healthy and proactive discussions within the cleaning industry.
In 2007, David authored The New Generation of Cleaning, with an updated edition slated for 2026.

My lifelong career as a janitor, coupled with my knack for seeing clearly in the dark—thanks to my green eyes—earned me the nickname "Katt".
She saw the connection between my night-owl nature and the black panther with green eyes tattooed on my leg, blending my profession and persona into one: JanitorKatt.
